Venlo Logistics Hotspot of the Netherlands

The Venlo region is entitled to call itself a logistics hotspot. Since the launch of the National Contest in 2004, the Venlo region has been awarded the title nine times, most recently in 2016.

The motorway, railway and transport by water via the Maas river are important connections for Rotterdam and the German hinterland. Venlo is the supply route for the many logistics companies which are settled here, KLG Europe being one of these companies.

Throughout Europe, Venlo is a well-known logistics area.  The region's geographical location and accessibility, the vicinity of clients and supplies, the availability of employees, land, existing storage spaces and real estate costs, government flexibility and the quality of the infrastructure are all well-established.

The Venlo region mainly owns it success to it geographical location. In addition to the road, rail and waterway connections, there are also four regional airports and one international airport in the immediate vicinity of Venlo.
