About Lean & Green

The Lean & Green program encourages companies across Europe to structurally improve the sustainability of their supply chains. Each star represents the achievement of measurable CO₂ reduction targets. By earning our second star, we demonstrate once again that we have achieved concrete results and continue to work toward a greener future.

KLG Europe achieves 10% CO₂ reduction

Between 2020 and 2023, we achieved a total CO₂ reduction of over 10%. This success is the result of conscious choices and targeted improvements, such as more efficient route planning, shipment consolidation, and the use of alternative transport modes wherever possible.

Proud of this shared achievement

The official award ceremony at KLG was a special moment, celebrated together with colleagues and partners. Achieving this second star is a result we are extremely proud of as an organization — and one we celebrated together as a team.

It is a confirmation of the steps we have taken collectively and a motivation to continue on this (green) path. Sustainability is not a project, but a way of working and of course, we do it together!
