In August 2026, KLG Europe was awarded an EcoVadis Gold Medal with a score of 85 out of 100, placing us in the top 5% of companies assessed worldwide for sustainability performance. This reflects our continued progress: from Bronze (63 in 2024) to Silver (71 in 2025) to Gold (85 in 2026).

About Ecovadis

EcoVadis is one of the most widely used independent sustainability ratings in business, assessing more than 150,000 companies worldwide. The EcoVadis assessment includes 21 sustainability criteria across four core themes: Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement. Medals are awarded only to the top performers. Many organisations use EcoVadis to assess the sustainability of their own suppliers.

What the rating reflects

Our 2026 assessment shows strong performance across all four areas:

Environment: 88
Labour & Human Rights: 85
Ethics: 84
Sustainable Procurement: 79

Labour & Human Rights saw the largest gain of any area this year reflecting our continued focus on health and safety, working conditions, and employee wellbeing. The scores are underpinned by a number of certificates and awards. We see this rating as a measure to keep improving.

What this means for our customers

For our customers, the EcoVadis Gold rating provides independent insight into KLG Europe’s sustainability performance. It supports greater transparency in supplier assessment, procurement and sustainability due diligence.

It also provides a stronger foundation for working together to reduce the environmental impact of logistics.
