In September 2025, KLG Europe earned an EcoVadis Silver medal with a score of 71 out of 100, up from 63 and a Bronze medal in 2024, placing us in the 87th percentile of companies assessed worldwide.

About Ecovadis

EcoVadis is one of the most widely used independent sustainability ratings in business, assessing more than 150,000 companies worldwide. It evaluates a company across four areas: Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement, and benchmarks the result against others in the same industry. Medals are awarded only to the top performers. Many organisations use EcoVadis to assess the sustainability of their own suppliers, which makes our rating a useful, recognised reference point for the companies we work with.

For our customers and partners, a Silver medal is a practical benefit: independent assurance that sustainability is managed credibly across our operations and supply chain.

What the rating reflects

Our strongest areas are Ethics (77) and Environment (76), followed by Sustainable Procurement (73) and Labour & Human Rights (64). Behind those scores sit ISO 14001 (environmental management), ISO 45001 (health & safety) and ISO 22000 (food safety) certifications, a Business Code of Conduct with whistleblower procedures, and a supplier code of conduct with ESG clauses and supplier risk assessments, and, day to day, fleet modernisation, renewable energy generation, and route and load optimisation.
