In 2019 Rotterdam and Shanghai celebrated their 40th sister city anniversary.
A time for Rotterdam to reflect on what they have achieved, but also a great opportunity to deepen and broaden the relations. During the special mission to Shanghai (11-14 June 2019) led by Ahmed Aboutaleb, Mayor of Rotterdam, there are explored opportunities on the Chinese market and celebrated this special occasion together.
