KLG Europe awarded EcoVadis Gold Medal

KLG Europe has been awarded an EcoVadis Gold Medal, with a score of 85 out of 100, placing KLG Europe in the top 5% of companies assessed worldwide for sustainability performance. This reflects our continued progress: from Bronze in 2024, to Silver in 2025, to Gold in 2026.

About Ecovadis

EcoVadis is one of the most widely used independent sustainability ratings in business, assessing more than 150,000 companies worldwide. The EcoVadis assessment includes 21 sustainability criteria across four core themes: Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement. Medals are awarded only to the top performers. Many organisations use EcoVadis to assess the sustainability performance of their own suppliers.

KLG Europe achieves Gold

Our overall score rose to 85 out of 100, up from 71 (Silver Medal) in 2025 and 63 (Bronze Medal) in 2024. The largest single gain was in Labour & Human Rights, which improved to 85, reflecting our continued focus on health and safety, working conditions, and employee wellbeing.

The Gold Medal also provides our customers with independent insight into KLG Europe’s sustainability performance and greater transparency when assessing their logistics partners.

Our participation in the United Nations Global Compact forms part of our broader commitment to responsible and sustainable business practices.

Looking ahead

KLG Europe remains committed to building on this result. The sustainability work continues through GEORGE, Lean & Green, HVO100 Book & Claim, and our participation in the UN Global Compact.

We see Gold not as an end point, but as another step in our continued efforts to improve and work towards more sustainable logistics.
