KLG has more than just a number of years of experience. Not long after the Second World War, we did the first international transports to and from France. France is a country with a rich history and culture that requires the right finesse to do business. As KLG, we speak the French language and know the culture, which makes it easier for forwarders or importers to communicate with French suppliers, buyers and other contacts. Our employees communicate for the French recipient or supplier in the French language and know the French way of working like no other!

Guaranteed short lead times
With a fleet of more than 150 trucks, we depart from the Netherlands to all destinations in France. In total, we have more than 500 departures every week and we handle more than 2500 shipments per week, from groupage to LTL and FTL. This allows us always to offer our customers short and also guaranteed lead times.

Our network is the strength
We deliver groupage shipments to our local carriers in France, who with all their local knowledge, take care of the last part of transport to the recipient. All these local carriers are part of our French network, called the Astre Palette-Systeme, of which we are co-founder and shareholder. This French network consists of more than 100 local French hauliers (generally family businesses) that serve whole France with their own fleet. We carry out less than full truck load (LTL) and full truck loads (FTL) with our own modern fleet and our own drivers who know France like no other. Both the shipments that run through our French network and the shipments that we carry out with our own equipment are constantly monitored via on-board computers that are connected to our planning department at the office in Eersel.

For every load
From chemistry to electronics and from retail to wine. We are active in all sectors and provide the solution that suits all the specific challenges of these different sectors. Our fleet is equipped with ADR equipment for the transport of dangerous goods. In addition, loading and unloading with a tail lift is a standard option. Of course, all these transport options also apply to imports from France. For example, we are close to all wine producers and chateaus. Our specialized wine import department has daily contact with the wineries and coordinates all wine imports and also takes care of the excise declaration. Every year we transport more than 50 million bottles of wine from France to the Netherlands.
