Curfew in the Netherlands – Transport excluded from curfew, declaration required

A curfew will apply throughout the Netherlands from Saturday 23rd of January 2021. That means that everyone stays inside between 10:00 PM and 4:30 AM. The transport and logistics sector excluded from curfew, but declarations are required. Between the times mentioned above, employees must carry two forms to prove they are outside for work.

One of the forms is an employer’s declaration, which the employer must complete. The second form is the “Self-declaration curfew”, which the employee must complete.

The forms are available in various langueages and can be downloaded from the Dutch government website:
