CO₂ Reduction Through Innovative Fuels

One of our concrete steps toward greener logistics is offering sustainable transport solutions such as Book & Claim. With this product, customers can opt for transport based on HVO100 (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil), a sustainable alternative fuel that can reduce the CO₂ emissions of shipments by approximately 85% compared to conventional diesel.

By making this choice together with our customers, we actively contribute to achieving both their sustainability goals and our own—helping to make the logistics chain cleaner and more efficient.

Our efforts are not merely aspirational—they are recognized by external programs. KLG Europe participates in the Lean & Green program, an initiative that supports companies in achieving structural CO₂ reductions in logistics and transport.

Thanks to targeted improvements such as more efficient route planning, shipment consolidation, and the use of alternative transport modes, KLG Europe has earned a second Lean & Green star. This demonstrates that we have made measurable progress in reducing our CO₂ emissions and that our sustainable approach delivers results.
